Single-season RAPM — with uncertainty

Single-season on-ice impact, shown with the 90% interval it actually carries. The interval is drawn on the rating itself — not on a separate estimate of it. Where two players' ratings cannot be told apart across 500 resamples of the season, we call it a tie, because it is. Right now that means the entire visible top ten is one tie group. That is not a bug and we are not going to hide it behind a ranking: over a single season, the gap between the best forwards is smaller than the uncertainty in measuring it. Our multi-season career board pools six seasons and is a different object — it ranks differently by design.
